 Four cities, Four events, Orlando, Pembroke Pines, Washington D.C. and Kingston – June 9th, 2012  

Pembroke Pines, FL – May 7, 2012 –The Anancy Festival 2012 will be held  in four cities  from the USA to Jamaica on Saturday, June 9th, 2012.. The event takes place in the following for cities: Pembroke Pine, Florida; Orlando, Florida; Washington D.C.; Kingston, Jamaica. The event will be simulcast between each city giving attendees an opportunity to see performances at different locations.

The three-day extravaganza will feature an exciting weekend of golf, fishing and celebrities.  All proceeds from FinsWeekend will benefit the Miami Dolphins Foundation.

Warm Jamaican Welcome for Diaspora Radio Journalists

KINGSTON, JAMAICA – May 17, 2012 – WELCOME HOME – Jamaica Tourist Board Meet the People Coordinator George Douglas greets Chris Collie, WAVS 1170 AM in Florida and Wayne Jobson, Indie 103.1 FM in Los Angeles at a Meet the People welcome reception at Oasis on the Oxford for Diaspora radio journalists from the United States and Canada. During the four-day JTB sponsored press trip, journalists were given a cultural treat in Kingston visiting Devon House, experiencing live reggae music at Hope Gardens and top class athletics at the JN Jamaica International Invitational. The journalists also visited Mystic Mountain in Ocho Rios, participating in the signature bobsled ride and in Montego Bay were treated to an exclusive two hour cruise aboard the 46’ Hatteras fishing yacht Cheryl Ann, courtesy of Island Routes Caribbean Adventure Tours.
